District of Virginia Waters – Pleasantville

Beth Crosbie draws on a family history of public service, a background as a business owner and educator, and over 20 years in real estate.  She graduated with a B.A. in Politics and Economics from Queen’s University, followed by graduation with Honors in Fashion and Fabric Design from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.  She started out as a designer of children’s wear, co-owning a small business employing people in rural New Brunswick. From there, Beth was appointed Acting Fashion Design Studio Head and taught at the College of Craft and Design.  Beth has had an award-winning career in the real estate industry, starting out as a Realtor, then serving on multiple committees in a number of roles including Treasurer for the New Brunswick Real Estate Association. She spent 7 years on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and was elected President in 2014.  Beth helped to develop policies of ethical practice impacting over 120,000 independent small business people in Canada, and over 1,000,000 in the United States. Today, Beth is a mother, grandmother, and a visual artist inspired by the story of our people.
