District of Lake Melville

Shannon grew up in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, but spent many of his formative years in Churchill Falls.  He grew up working in a family business, and knows what it is to serve the community. He has worked tirelessly as a Constituency Assistant, Town Councillor (Chair of the Public Works Committee), and Executive Assistant to the Minister of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs.  He has helped oversee the project to make the Labrador Flag an officially recognized provincial symbol to be flown at government buildings, and has worked as Special Liaison to Chief Eugene Hart of the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation. He knows that work together is the only way to better his community, and he is excited to be a strong voice and advocate for all residents of his district.
